Unlike Kirby's Epic Yarn; Kirby's previous appearance on the Wii, you can inhale your enemies and take their ever so favored abilities. But like the previous game it is co-op, so go and grab your parents, friends, kids, pets and anyone you can see on the street for a manic get together of all our favourite characters. While the main player has no choice in this character selection, they are stuck as Kirby, which is by far the most powerful character out of all so don't go passing this fluff ball over or else that 5 year old orphan you found on the street might be dominating the screen. However if you're up for a change, or opted to accompany the leader in his travels then you have the choice to roam around as either Meta-Knight, King DeeDee or a Waddle Dee.
So grab your wiimote and prepare for a journey with your favourite ball of fluff as this game is said to release around Fall 2011.

ReplyDeleteThis looks really nice, and I always have a high level of nostalgia for Kirby games, but I don't know I'll end up buying it. I usually fall into this trap with Nintendo games where I buy them, play them for about an hour and never go back to them again. It's like I get that initial nostalgia bump, and then realize that the simplify of the gameplay isn't enough to keep me invested for the whole game.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm too jaded now that I'm a little older, but I need a good story, with solid characters, preferably voice acting, and varied gameplay mechanics to keep me interested these days. That's why I look forward to stuff like Skyrim, Mass Effect 3, Bioshock Infinite, ect.
Kirby has an original approach to the style of their games. I can't wait to see whats new in this one.
